OK, IIMC not expect you to be professionaly strong in first time, but what they need is the flow.Dont just write the story, add some life to the story - Simple.
U can narrate the story line with dialogues if possible visuals for TV(sketch of few scenes).Like use half of the page for story and 2nd half for dialogues and sketch.
For radio try to ad sound effects(what sounds u want to use),its a non visual medium,so no need for visuals.
And for print u need to draw you idea, not perfectly, it can be rough sketch also.
